1967 Epiphone Howard Roberts is in excellent condition and perfect playing order. Comes with the original hardcase.
The Howard Roberts is in amazing shape for being 51 years old! The lower set screw for the low E tuning key has a small hair-line crack, and the knobs have been changed to black speed knobs. Otherwise it's all original!
The mini-humbucker is rich and full. The neck is extremely comfortable and easy to play. The neck is in fantastic shape with nice low action all the way up the fretboard. The frets themselves don't have much wear, but they're also quite flat. The top has finish checking, bumps and bonks here and there but nothing major. There's a couple small chips in the finish here and there, around the neck heel, as well as some finish checking on the back of the headstock.
This one-owner guitar has been well played for many decades. This one features a bound solid spruce top, bound mahogany back and sides, slim C profile mahogany neck with a bound rosewood fretboard, mother of pearl slotted block inlays, rosewood bridge, Grover tuners, and a sunburst finish.
Has a 1 11/16" nut width, 24 3/4" scale length, and weighs 5 pounds 13 ounces.
