1969 Martin 0-18 is in great cosmetic condition and perfect playing order. Come with a Guardian deluxe hard case.
This stunning single-aught acoustic guitar may be smaller in size, but it's a sonic cannon!
Since it's a pre-truss rod Martin, it's had the usual maintenancerepairs performed. It's had a neck reset, replaced carved bone nut, a new carved and compensated bone saddle, replaced pickguard, a complete refret with vintage size fret wire, and the bridge pin were changed out with a set of ebony pins. All of which was done by an experienced and professional luthier. Otherwise, it's all stock and ready to be played for another 50 years.
It's got all the usual little bonks and character marks around the body that one could expect to see on a guitar that's nearly 50 years old. The top has very light finish checking. In-between the pickguard and the bridge is a hair-line crack that has been glued and cleated, as well as one that is underneath the pickguard. On the bass side lower bout edge of the top, there's a finish gouge that runs parallel with the grain, it's not a crack just a finish gouge. On the center of the back of the neck, behind the 5th fret, is a subtle dent and has the tiniest piece of finish that is missing. As well as an even more subtle indentation behind the 3rd fret of the D string.
Bound spruce top, bound mahogany back and sides, soft V profile mahogany neck, Brazilian rosewood fretboard, and Brazilian rosewood bridge.
Has a 1 5/8" nut width, 25" scale length, and weighs 3 pounds 7 ounces.
